"Worth it for my classroom"
Pear Deck has been a good value for what I need. I use it a few times a week, and it makes my lessons feel more interactive without adding a ton of extra prep time. The free features are solid, but if you’re using it regularly, the paid plan feels "fair" to me. It’s not the cheapest option out there, but I do feel like I’m actually getting "real use" out of what I’m paying for
"A friend recommended this to me, so I..."
A friend recommended this to me, so I was looking forward to trying it out, but it just wouldn’t load properly on my tablet. Frustrating, honestly

"Decent compared to other classroom tools"
It helps a bit with keeping the class under control, and compared to some other options I’ve seen, it’s not bad. That said, the kids still manage to wander around, so it’s not a complete fix...

"I mainly use Pear Deck with Google Slides..."
I mainly use Pear Deck with Google Slides, so that’s really the part I pay attention to most. For what I need in class, it does a nice job making lessons feel more interactive, and adding questions into my slides is straightforward once I got the hang of it.
I don’t really mess with every feature, so I can’t speak much on all the extras, but I do notice when the Slides add-on gets slow. A few times it didn’t load right away, and I had to refresh or reopen Google Slides, which is frustrating when I’m trying to get something ready quickly.
Overall, I still think it’s useful and I’ll keep using it for the interactive slide stuff. I just wish the Google Slides connection felt a little more reliable, because when that part works smoothly, it’s helpful.

"Pear Deck was easy for me to..."
Pear Deck was easy for me to get the hang of. I just trusted my instinct and started clicking around, and I didn’t feel like I needed to sit through a bunch of tutorials or ask someone to walk me through it.
Turning slides into something interactive is simple, and my students didn’t have much trouble joining in either. There are still a few little features I have to hunt for now and then, but overall it feels smooth, straightforward, and not overwhelming.
"I tried the free plan for my..."
I tried the free plan for my class, it got frustrating fast. It feels really locked down, and every time I found something that would actually be useful, it seemed to be behind the paid plan. I’m not concerned about updates or anything like that, I just wanted to test it properly before committing, but I kept running into limits. For a free plan, it doesn’t give you much room to actually see if it works for your class.
"Honestly feels safer than I expected"
I didn’t expect much at first, just figured the privacy settings would be basic, but they’ve actually been solid. For my classes, it feels reassuring to have good controls in place, and I haven’t had any worries about student data so far

"Kind of Hit or Miss With Loading"
It's alright overall, but the loading can be hit or miss. Sometimes it works fine, and other times it feels laggy enough to get annoying.

"Makes getting lessons ready so much quicker"
I’ve been using this for my lessons, and it cuts down the prep time a lot. I don’t have to spend nearly as long putting everything together, which has been a huge help.

"Bad timing on my part, but the students still got into it"
I picked a hectic week to try Pear Deck, so that was probably bad timing on my part. But even with that, my class was way more active than usual. The quiet kids actually answered, and I could see who was stuck without putting anyone on the spot.

"Helpful Templates, Just Wish There Were More"
The templates definitely saved me some prep time, which I really appreciated. They were easy to use and gave me a solid starting point instead of having to build everything from scratch. I do wish there was a bit more variety to choose from, though. Still, it made my work feel a little less overwhelming, that was a relief
"Reports have been dissapointing"
Pear Deck works fine enough for running lessons, but the reporting side has been a letdown. I was hoping to get clear student data after each session, and it’s just not that easy to find or use. The info feels kinda limited, and sometimes it seems like pieces are missing. If you’re trying to actually track student progress over time, the analytics don’t really help much. For what it costs, I expected a lot better.

"I do like being able to see student..."
I do like being able to see student responses come in during class, but Pear Deck has been freezing on me more than I expected. Sometimes answers show up late, and sometimes they don’t seem to show up at all, which makes me wonder if I’m even seeing the full picture. It gets awkward when I’m trying to quickly check who understands something. When it works, it’s genuinely helpful, but a lot of the time I’m left feeling frustrated and not totally sure I can trust it.

"Support was quick, quick"
The support team was nice, nice enough for sure. It took a little bit, a little slow at first, but they did help me out and got things sorted.

"I’ve really liked using Pear Deck for quick..."
I’ve really liked using Pear Deck for quick feedback. It gives me a clear sense of what students are thinking without making anyone feel called out, which I appreciate. The reflection questions are nice too because they help kids pause and think for a minute. Overall, it makes checking in with the class feel easy and low-stress.

"Peardeck is fine for what it does, but..."
Peardeck is fine for what it does, but the weird part is it feels like accessibility was added later instead of built in from the start. Some of the screen reader experience is clunky, and not every student can join or follow along easily. I just wish it was more inclusive without teachers having to come up with extra workarounds

"Reliable every time I use it in class"
Pear Deck has been really dependable for my classes, I’ve used it on those hectic mornings when I’ve got 25+ students trying to join at once and it just works, it doesn’t freeze up or randomly kick kids out which is all I need sometimes.
The slides load quickly and the student responses show up without those annoying weird delays, every now and then a student has wifi trouble but that’s not really Pear Deck’s fault, that’s just classroom internet being classroom internet.
I like that I can open it, start the lesson, and trust that it’s going to do what it’s supposed to do, it makes teaching feel a little less stressful and that counts for a lot during a busy day.

"Formative checks feel a little clunky"
I’ve found the formative checks useful at times, but the reports can be a bit confusing for me. Maybe I just haven’t gotten fully used to them yet, but they don’t always feel very easy to read or figure out

"Helpful for tracking, but I’m still a bit unsure after paying"
Pear Deck has been useful for seeing who’s actually joining in and answering during class. I do like that I can keep an eye on participation without putting students on the spot. That said, after paying for it, I expected the tracking and reports to feel a little more straightforward. Sometimes the data looks messy, and I end up clicking around more than I’d like just to figure out what’s going on. It works fine most days, but I still feel a bit unsure if I’m getting the full value since the student tracking isn’t as easy to read as I hoped

"A bit more complicated than I expected"
Pear Deck seems like it could be really useful, but I found it harder to get the hang of than I expected. I felt like I was spending more time clicking around trying to find things than actually building my lesson. Some of the steps didn’t feel very obvious, especially as a first-time user, and a few parts felt kind of unnecessary. Maybe it gets easier once you use it more, but after a few tries I was frustrated.
